Wealth planning built for doctors and medical establishments

You start earning late, work long hours, and carry risks most professions don't. Docland plans your investments, insurance and retirement around a medical career, and manages surplus for clinics, nursing homes and hospitals.

Why doctors need a different plan

A generic financial plan assumes you start earning at 22. A medical career rarely works that way.

For doctors

A late start

Years of study, residency and fellowship mean fewer earning years to build a retirement corpus. Higher SIPs and smarter allocation help close the gap.

Education and practice debt

Loans for training, a clinic or equipment compete with investing. We help you decide what to repay first and what to invest alongside.

Income that swings

Private practice income varies by month and season. We build an emergency reserve and flexible SIPs to match.

Personal liability

Malpractice claims and disputes can threaten savings. Professional indemnity and adequate cover protect what you have built.

No employer pension

Most private practitioners have no employer-funded retirement plan. You need to build your own income for life after practice.

No time to manage money

We handle paperwork, reviews and reminders, and schedule calls around your OPD, surgeries and on-call hours.

Products for your career and your practice

Every recommendation is checked for suitability against your goals, time horizon and risk tolerance. We will say so when a product isn't right for you.

For clinics, nursing homes, hospitals and diagnostic centres

Staff benefits

Group health, personal accident cover and NPS options that help you attract and keep nurses, technicians and doctors.

Promoter and partner wealth

What the policy covers?

The policy has 12 sections. Choose a group, then open a section to see what it covers and what it doesn't.

Often yes, but it takes higher monthly investing and a disciplined plan. Use the calculator above to see how a larger SIP over a shorter period compares, then we can build a realistic plan around your numbers. Outcomes are not guaranteed.

It depends on your structure, tax position and goals. We can lay out the options, and we recommend confirming the tax and legal side with your chartered accountant.

Most practitioners should consider it, since a claim can affect both income and savings. The right cover depends on your specialty, procedures and practice setup, and we will explain the options.

Mutual fund units are held in your name with the AMC or in your demat account. Payments go directly to the AMC or issuer. We never accept payments into a personal account.

For regular-plan mutual funds and some other products, we receive a commission from the product provider, which is built into the product's expense ratio. We explain how we are paid before you invest. Replace this answer with your firm's actual fee model before publishing.

No. Mutual funds, PMS and AIFs are market-linked and can lose value. Be cautious about anyone who promises guaranteed returns on these products.

Mutual fund SIPs can start with small monthly amounts, depending on the scheme. PMS starts at Rs 50 lakh and AIFs at Rs 1 crore, as set by SEBI.
